Aquila Services and Solutions

Government Environmental Policies have led to greater accountability of how we impact the environment. The "Green Issue" can easily be addressed with proofing methods, which in turn will reduce the risk of disease carrying vermin etc.

AQUILA can provide a number of proofing methods to meet almost any situation.

Bird Proofing: Various methods can be deployed to deal with birds from the size of sparrows to Sea Gulls. These professional solutions are effective, viable and legal methods of bird control.

Bird Net
The only system truly effective against all species of bird, in almost every situation. Tailored to a specific bird i.e. Feral pigeon, these nets are erected to deny access to favoured roosting and nesting sites.

Bird Point
An anti perch system used to control feral pigeons and sea gulls. This system of stainless steel spikes prevents the target birds from landing on ledges, window sills, shop signs etc.

Bird Wire
An extremely versatile form of anti perch system to control feral pigeons and sea gulls. A series of stainless tension wires, prevent the target birds from landing on roof ridges, ledges etc.

Flying Insect Proofing and control can be achieved with the employment of various barriers and machines. The following is an extract from the Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995: "Adequate procedures must be in place to ensure pests are controlled", and "those (windows) which can be opened to the outside environment must, where necessary, be fitted with insect proof screens which can be easily removed for cleaning".

Fly Screen
These bespoke screens are fitted in a variety of methods, offering an insect proof barrier for windows and doors. This solution allows ventilation whilst complying with legislation.

Insect Killer
This device is employed to eradicate flying insects within an area. Attracted to Ultra Violet Light, the insect flies into an electric grid and caught in a tray at the bottom. Very effective, widely used, and a model to meet every different situation.

Rodent Proofing: The employment of various forms of welded mesh, bristle strips, specialist fillers and steel plate can deter even the most resolute of rodents. These methods can be extremely effective in the fight against vermin, but should only be considered after current infestations are under control.
